DVFT was established in year 2000 as a registered charitable trust. It has since taken leading role in spreading awareness regarding the prevention of peripheral vascular diseases (non-cardiac blood vessels) which cause amputation & stroke. The trust does not receive funds from the Government and they are collected through donations from the industry, public and the patients. The funds are needed to support various programmes and free services organized by the Delhi Vascular Foundation Trust.
