Report of Peripheral Vascular Disease Camp
Peripheral Vascular diseases camp has been organized on 16/03/07 in R&D Conference hall by Medical Cell Noida in association with Vascular foundation trust New Delhi & Sir Ganga Ram Hospital New Delhi.
Dr Subhash Chandra (CMO CC), Dr P.C. Rai (CMO EOC), and all the doctors from medical cell Noida were present at the occasion.
Dr Rajeev Parakh Sr Vascular Surgeon spoke about prevention of peripheral Vascular diseases and effect of Diabetes, Dyslipidemia, Hypertension Smoking, Sedentary life style etc. and their management. Dr Anjali Arora from SGR Hospital apprised the audience about importance of life style modification in controlling lipids in body and in prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
41 Patients had undergone ABI (Ankle Brachial Index) test, out of which two were found positive and recommended for further management.
