Dear Friends,
“PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE” – The stress of modern day health care is on prevention of disease & subsequent disability.
DVFT, a Non Government, Not for Profit, Charitable Trust is engaged in creating public awareness for prevention of disability due to Peripheral Vascular Diseases (Non-Cardiac blood vessels).
As per WHO data, by 2010, India will have 40 million diabetic patients, of them 25% will have arterial diseases and of 5 million Indians, 50% will undergo amputation at some stage.
If you are a smoker and suffering from high blood pressure, high cholesterol, get yourself checked for presence of vessel blockages. If left alone, they might lead to devastating outcomes. Swelling in the leg, Pain in the leg, varicose veins, Non-healing Ulcers can also signify blood vessel disease and can lead to life long misery.
The wait is over!!!!!

Please fill in the self-test Proforma for your own benefit.
